Dear Me from 2016

Wow, you just stepped out of a shit-show, huh? I don’t know how we got there, but I’m glad it’s over and we can focus on ourselves now. However, I need to warn you. I want to give you some information about the path your life is about to take. You don’t have to believe me, but I know that if I could go back and make your choices again, there are some things I would do differently.

There’s a man, you’ve already met him, but he isn’t on your radar really in terms of dating. Do you remember Aaron’s brother, David? He came in to your gym and sparred you. You kicked him in the head 5 times in 2 mins. Ha ha…do you remember him? Well, your skills made an impression on him. He’s going to invite you to his first MMA fight.

You’re going to go.

I want you to go.

Trust me.

David is your twin flame. Like a soulmate, but closer. Seriously, I want you to know this…..

The fairytale is real. The kind of mushy, movie love where music plays when you kiss? It’s REAL! It exists and you will have that with this guy! Run toward it as hard as you can!

But, just like the fairytale love, the evil that tries to stand in the way is also real.

So, while every minute that you spend with David will be worth it, no matter the outcome, here are some things I learned…
